Standards and Accountability for Christian Schools

This session will continue upon the theme established in Dr. Wiens’ first seminar, Qualities of Exemplary Schools. During this sessin, the CESA Standards of Accountability will be outlined and explained. These standards are research-based and are meant to inform and enable schools to maximize their potential and provide tools for ongoing growth and sustainability.

Timothy Wiens

Timothy Wiens is Assistant Professor and Secondary Education Coordinator in the Department of Education at Wheaton College. He also serves as the Executive Director for the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability, a council existing to motivate, support, and hold accountable Christian schools that aspire to superlative academic standards, institutional best practice and collaboration with like-minded schools. He holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and has served as a teacher, coach, dean, assistant principal, and headmaster in suburban, urban, and international schools. Tim is married to Dr. Kathryn Wiens. The couple has one son, Eliot, and a 160lb. Great Dane named Griswold. They reside in Wheaton, Illinois.
