Description
Covenant Christian Academy is seeking a qualified secondary school professional in the area of Latin and Bible: Preference given for candidates holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Latin or Ancient Languages, or a Master’s of Divinity, or related field. The candidate must have mastery of the field(s), the ability to flourish in our distinctly Christian and Classical model, and a passion for teaching Latin and Bible through dynamic curricula.
A Logic School faculty position includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Bring joy and enthusiasm for classical education, teaching students how to love the Bible and appreciate learning an ancient language
- Plan and teach four sections of Latin (two sections of Latin 7, two sections of Latin 8, each meeting 3x/week)
- Plan and teach two sections of Bible (each meeting 3x/week)
- Serve as an advisor to Logic School students
- Plan and facilitate grammar mastery and vocabulary-building for the Latin courses
- Manage and maintain Latin/Bible classrooms, including recommendations for additional materials and methodologies that would enhance student learning
- Prepare students to succeed on the annual National Latin Exam
- Be available for weekly Upper School faculty meetings
- Attend a limited number of school events as representative of the CCA Upper School faculty, including “Back to School Night,” “Discover Covenant,” and admissions events
- Be available during set hours each week to work with students individually for extra help and/or coaching in areas of Bible and Latin
- Perform assigned weekly duties which may include study hall proctoring and lunch duty
- Must be willing to sign CCA’s Statement of Faith and Core Values.
- Must maintain the highest Christian virtue and personal decorum, serving as a Christian role model and mentor both in and out of school, to students, parents, fellow faculty members and employees in judgment, dignity, respect, and Christian living

Contract runs: September 2025 through June 2026; teaching is on a 10 month cycle.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
