Upper School Instructional Coach (coaching teachers in grades 5-9)

Base starting salary: $55,000 (MA)

About The Ecclesial Schools

The Ecclesial Schools Initiative is expanding access to extraordinary Christian education by creating schools where children enter a rich learning atmosphere and receive a classical Christian curriculum—regardless of financial means. We are looking for joyful, skilled and experienced educators to coach the faculty of our growing network of neighborhood schools planted in local churches in the greater Orlando area.

Instructional coaches receive paid in-service training from experienced academic leaders throughout the year, beginning with onboarding and orientation before the start of school. Our goal is to ensure that instructional coaches are well prepared and supported as they help teachers accomplish the school's most important mission—providing students with rich and formative classical Christian learning.

Work-life balance is important to us. We create margins in the academic schedules and limit programming outside of school hours. We also seek to create structures and activities that foster collegiality and collaboration. For teachers this means serving on grade-level teams that meet across campuses to work on projects that matter both for their own practice and professional growth, but also for the growth of the academic mission of The Ecclesial Schools. For instructional and other academic leaders, this means serving as members of the academic leadership team.

We want The Ecclesial Schools to be a place where children are rooted, known, and loved. We know that begins by creating a workplace—from missional work to competitive compensation—where teachers, staff, and administrators feel the same way.
