Ann Lowrey Forster
It’s the Little Things: Practicing Hospitality in Faculty & Parent Development
Session Description:
As leaders in our schools, we have an opportunity to create a culture of hospitality. We know that the environment in which our students learn matters, and the same is true for our teachers and parents. Starting with a heart posture and ending with practical tips and tricks, we’ll look at professional development and parent education through the lens of hospitality. Why would we want to think this way? How can we make profitable changes in our practices? If every person we meet is immortal, how might our practices around development minister to the souls of our people?
