Real Life Stories: Controversial Topics and Discussion

An explanation of a unique program for upper school students that draws on content from TED, the Q Conference, as well as local and video conferenced speakers to present students with a variety of subjects to consider and debate. The session will explain how these subjects give students valuable practice in analyzing a topic, forming an opinion, and debating with classmates while also providing a means to engage some of the area’s most intriguing thinkers in conversation with our students.
