Information technology can be a great tool for education, but as Christian educators we must think critically about the technology that we adopt into our lives. This seminar will look at the ethical dilemmas posed by some of the most popular aspects of modern information technology and examine the response that we should have as Christians attempting to live virtuously in an increasingly virtual world.

Aaron Gentry

Aaron is a self-confessed technology geek who has worked with both technology and education for the past 10 years in his various roles at Christian schools in Virginia, Mississippi and Texas. He has a B.A. in Humanities from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS as well as a M.Div and M.A. in Christian Education from Reformed Theological Seminary. Aaron is privileged to serve currently as the Chaplain and Dean of Students at Covenant Christian Academy in Colleyville, Texas. Aaron graduated from Covenant in 1995 and has recently returned to work there. He teaches 11th grade Apologetics I and works constantly to keep himself and parents up-to-date on hardware and so ware that the students know intuitively!
