Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our amazing team at Veritas School in the role of Receptionist. This position requires someone who can navigate through both hectic and slow times at the front desk, while maintaining a warm, cheerful, hospitable attitude and staying productive during downtime.

The Receptionist is often the first face and/or voice our parents, students, faculty, staff, and guests encounter and plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment.

The position offers the opportunity to be at the heart of our daily operations in the Lower School that include, but not limited to, the following: answering phones, guest check-in, maintaining security protocols with door management for multiple buildings, supply ordering, and communication with faculty, staff, and parents. While there may be slow times tied to the front desk, your ability to find meaningful tasks during those moments will contribute to the overall efficiency of our school community.

If you are a dedicated individual who thrives in a desk-oriented role and enjoys staying productive during slower periods, and you would like to work in a school culture that is deeply faithful to Jesus and aligned with a Classical tradition, we would like to hear from you. We're primarily interested in who you are and secondarily interested in what you know and can do. You will be surrounded by an experienced team who loves working together on our lovely historic campus in the Northside neighborhood of Richmond, VA.

This position is full-time. To apply, please submit a cover letter and resume through our online application form on iSolved.
