Description

The right candidate will nurture learning communities that are academically rigorous, Christ-centered, and joyful. Self-reflective, humble, and faith-filled, she or he will be open to feedback and committed to continuously improving. He or she will model such Christian virtues as grace, forgiveness, hope, service, reverence, and magnanimity.

There will approximately be 8-12 total students in this class in 2025-2026. Through its hybrid learning model, Reign’s teachers deliver class-wide instruction for half days from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm and in the afternoons teachers provide instruction one-on-one or in small groups to the students who decide to stay (NOTE: students are free to leave at 12:30pm if they and their parents prefer). For students who decide to learn from home in the afternoons, teachers partner with families to provide students with independent learning. Thus, full-time teachers will deliver whole-class instruction for 18 hours per week, then have additional time to serve students individually or in small groups, prepare lessons, manage instructional duties, participate in professional development, and chaperone community activities. On Fridays, students are offered enrichment opportunities, driven by volunteer instructors, and Reign faculty. Teachers can spend much of the day in lesson prep, staff meeting, professional development, etc.
