Status: Full-time, salaried; teaching position
Spiritual Expectations:
- Joyfully sign and submit to CCS’s Doctrinal Statement including the school’s statement on gender, marriage, and sexuality.
- Pursue holiness seeking to exude the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
- Pursue humility and Christ-like servant leadership.
- Have the spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Prov. 22:6, ESV).
Professional and Cultural Expectations:
- Is passionate about Christ-centered classical education.
- Is enthusiastic, an encourager, and a self-starter with a high energy level.
- Is good with people, demonstrating sensitivity toward staff, parents, volunteers, and children, and an ability to interact effectively with them.
- Understand the importance of discernment, discretion, and confidentiality in the operation of the school.
Education and Experience:
- Has a strong awareness and passion for classical pedagogy.
- A passion for living books!
- Comfortable teaching Rod and Staff math
- Demonstrates a reasonable level of computer literacy.
