Job Title: Art Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team at Christ Covenant School. The Art Teacher will be responsible for providing Christ-centered art education for our students. This role offers an opportunity to inspire students to develop their artistic talents while integrating Christian values and classical principles of beauty, truth, and goodness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach visual arts across multiple grade levels, focusing on foundational skills, art history, and creative expression.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s classical curriculum and Christian worldview.
• Foster an environment of creativity and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore and refine their artistic abilities.
• Integrate Biblical themes and Christian teachings into art instruction, helping students appreciate the connection between faith and art.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide artistic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to support the overall mission of the school.
• Organize and oversee student art shows, exhibitions, or other public displays of student work.
• Maintain an organized and safe classroom, ensuring the proper use and care of materials and equipment.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as needed.
