Description
Over 900 lives have been touched by Rafiki’s orphan care program, and while we no longer accept new children into the program, there are still over 600 children who are cared for physically, spiritually, emotionally, and educationally by national caregivers who are overseen by an orphan care administrator. Orphan care administrators disciple and train national caregivers to raise children biblically. They cooperate with Rafiki schools to ensure that the children’s educational needs are met, and oversee a scholarship program for orphans who proceed to tertiary study after graduating from Rafiki Schools. They also ensure that child sponsors are updated regularly on the spiritual, physical, and educational growth of the children. Rafiki orphan care administrators have the privilege of counseling young people and working toward the ultimate goal that they might become godly contributors in their countries.
