How do we get past the “ewww” factor and help our students appreciate the depth of Greek tragedy more fully? Focusing on the Oedipus plays, we will address finding beauty in the midst of tragedy, and how it is necessary to complete the experience of reading the Greek tragedians.

Mrs. Greb is Head of School at Oakdale Academy in the Detroit area. She graduated cum laude from the Hillsdale College Honors Program with a B.A. in Christian Studies. Prior to serving in her current role as Head of School, Mrs. Greb owned a small business and successfully homeschooled her children for eight years.
